There comes a time when every municipality decides to abandon its failing school system, fire a few cops, ignore the
foot deep potholes in all its roads, and build a new baseball stadium. Recently this time came for Philadelphia, the Wonton Way's home city.
Things were going well, plans were underway, companies were hired, supplies were delivered, large burly men stood around in small clumps, and unions argued over how much these men should be paid.
It had all the dressings of a good old fashioned construction project. Then the city realized there was a major problem. We already had
a baseball stadium. And it was in the way.
Through the editing skill and shoddy camerawork of our very own Dale K, every subtle nuance of Philadelphia's former stadium's momentous removal is available here for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
